We’re excited to announce that the Baldwinsville Public Library will hold a two-day Bag Sale Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20. With generous volunteer help from the Friends of Baldwinsville Public Library and the Rotary Club of Baldwinsville, we’ll be selling $5 bags of books on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. After the weekend, bags may be purchased at the Circulation Desk.
How does this sale work? If you have been to previous sales, you know that the books are arranged by topic, genre or author. For this sale, bags in similar arrangements have already been filled for you. Looking for books about gardening? We’ll have bags of gardening books. Do you enjoy mysteries? We have many bags filled with mysteries. If you need books for kids, we’ll have bags of those too! This is a “blind purchase,” but that’s what makes it fun — you never know what you’ll get! All sales are final, and books may not be returned to the library. Please note that the library is not currently accepting any donations.
The bag sale will be held in the library’s Community Room. We ask that everyone enter the sale through the Community Room door from the parking lot. Please wear a mask and practice proper social distancing. We look forward to seeing at the sale!
The Baldwinsville Public Library is located at 33 E. Genesee St. in the village of Baldwinsville. For more information, visit bville.lib.ny.us or call 315-635-5631.
