April 29 event theme is Modern Masquerade, featuring special guest Alyson Carosello
Students in Cazenovia College’s fashion design and fashion merchandising programs will present the 44th annual student-run fashion show at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse. The theme for this year’s show is “Modern Masquerade.”
The fashion department welcomes back Cazenovia College fashion design alumna Alyson Carosello as this year’s guest speaker. Carosello graduated in 2010, and is the design director for ROMA Industries in Manhattan, and owner of Alyson Nicole, a specialty bridal design business.
The students in the fashion show production class, ranging from freshman to senior, have worked diligently for the past year to put together every element of the show, including runway design, lighting, choreography, music, and advertising. The fashion show features the designs of underclassman, as well as the final collections of senior fashion design majors.
This year’s fashion merchandising seniors are Rachel Case, Charlie Crouse, Tyne Emery, Hannah Fitzgerald, Brianna Goodwin, Katelyn Gorczynski, Hannah Gray, Kayla Hummel, Larissa MacAllister, Mercedes Moody, Ezmira Neshawait, Shannon O’Brien, Desire Rico, Theresa Staats, and Iriscelis Tirado. The fashion design seniors include Emily Bilotti, Brooke Burglund, Victoria Emery, Katrina Gai, Chyna Harrison Jennifer Livulpi, Brittany Londos, Sarah Losito, Kristia Otey, Julia Puttre, Jessica Russo and Katherine Scherz.
Admission for this year’s show is $20 for adults, $12 for students, and free for children ages 5 and under. V.I.P. tickets are also available for $50, which includes a reception before the show and reserved seating. Tickets are now on sale.
