Suzanne “Sue” Warner, 72, of North Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born in Syracuse to the late Harold Bernard and Bertha May (Johnson) Rowe, she was also, predeceased by her brother, Harold B. Rowe, Jr.
Sue was a bus driver for North Syracuse Central School District and previously for Solvay Schools. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and a 30 plus year associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph Carondelet, Latham.
An outdoors enthusiast, Sue enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. For over 30 years, she was a member of the Three Rivers Rod and Gun Club. She was an avid trap shooter and the 1996 NYS Ladies Champion.
Sue traveled, as a camper, with her husband to Bar Harbor, Florida and the Dakotas and cruised through Alaska. For genealogical research, she traveled with her sister through Ireland, Germany, France and England.
Sue and her husband, Robert E. Warner, III, were married Aug. 21, 1971. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas R. (Pamela) Warner; grandchildren, Brooke and Patrick Warner; sisters, Sylvia (Bruce) Walden and Deborah (Fred) Skellham and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, July 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale. Burial follows in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Moyers Corners.
