Marjorie L. Weaver, 102, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at her home following a long illness.
Born in Utica, Marjorie resided most of her life in the Baldwinsville area where she raised her family. Faith and prayer were important in her life, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society at St. Mary’s Church, she also gave back to others by volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
The greatest joy in her life was the time spent with family, few things could bring out her smile quite the way that her grandchildren did.
She was predeceased by her husband, James; sister, Irene Rabert; and step-brother, Robert Kozlowski.
Surviving are her three daughters, Sharon (Ed) Batchelder of GA, Brenda Weaver of GA, and Darlene (Art Thompson) St. John of Camillus; sister, Dorothy Drotar of Sidney, N.Y.; step-sister, Clara Sliwinski of Whitesboro; and a brother, Louis (Shirley) Kozlowski of Old Forge; grandchildren, Dawn Batchelder, David St. John, and Michael St. John; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her close friend and neighbor Michelle Shenandoah. Due to Covid-19 A funeral mass was streamed at staugustinesparish.org and a private burial service was held in St Mary’s Cemetery.
