Cazenovia Police Department

 

Arrests:

Victor D. Gonzalez, 39, of Cazenovia, was arrested July 19 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree: 1

No/insufficient plate lamps: 1

Operating a motor vehicle while operating a portable electric device: 1

Operating a motor vehicle while using cell phone: 1

Pass red signal: 1

Uninspected motor vehicle: 2

Unlicensed operator: 1

Unregistered trailer: 1

 

Investigations:

Cazenovia police are investigation the reported theft of a laptop computer and a camera from a car on Lincklaen Street on July 16. Police are also investigating the reported theft of two kayaks from the Lakeside Park kayak racks on July 16. According to police, the two crimes appear to not be connected.

Police Chief Michael Hayes encourages any residents with information concerning ongoing investigations or other crime tips to call the Cazenovia Police Department at 655-3276. Leave a message if an officer does not answer the phone. All calls and tips will remain confidential.

Arrests:

James V. Hegedus, 46, of Cazenovia, was arrested July 22 and charged with petit larceny.

 

 

Madison County Sheriff’s Office

 

Arrests:

Cody J. Logan, 23, of Cazenovia, was arrested July 19 and charged with failure to appear.
