Jasmine X. Pitzrick, of Cazenovia, has been awarded a presidential scholarship to SUNY Oswego. The award recognizes past academic achievement and potential for success. She reserved a place as a freshman at the college for the fall 2016 semester, majoring in psychology.
Miguel A. Rodriguez, of Cazenovia, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Kelly Furlong, of Cazenovia, recently spent time in Granada, Spain, for Susquehanna University’s cross-cultural requirement. Furlong designed her own program, in which she took Spanish-intensive classes at the Don Quijote Language School and lived with a Spanish host family. While in Granada, she studied Spanish culture by interacting with local citizens and visiting historical sites.
