The Manlius Fire Department and the Village of Manlius have announced the induction of their new career firefighter/paramedic, Michael Gabriel. Gabriel will spend 11 weeks training at the New York State Fire Academy to prepare for his service in the department. He was inducted by Mayor Paul Whorral and Fire Chief Brad Pinsky. Gabriel has served six years as a paramedic with Rural Metro.
