The Syracuse Auto Dealers Association recently elected officers for the coming year, including Gino Barbuto, of East Syracuse Chevrolet, as president. Barbuto purchased East Syracuse Chevrolet in December of 2011 and is active in the S.A.D.A., co-chairing the preview and most recently serving at vice-president. He also is assistant treasurer of the New York State Auto Dealers and is president of the Chevrolet Dealers Advertising Group
Also elected were: Vice-President – Stephen Byer (Alan Byer Auto Sales); Secretary – Michael W. Spinelli (Heritage Lincoln); Treasurer – Richard Burritt (RM Burritt Motors); and Past President – James B. Barr (Crest Cadillac/Acura).
The organization founded in 1909, produces the annual auto show and provides services to the membership. The Auto Show Charity Preview, now 18 years running, has generated over $3 million to organizations in the community. The February 2016 event distributed over $287,000 and plans are underway for the 19th edition next February.
