FAIRMOUNT– The Fairmount Community Library continues to offer extra support to patrons during the time of COVID.
The library is now offering one-on-one assistance with registering for a COVID vaccination for anyone in need of help.
If you are eligible to receive a COVID vaccine and are having trouble making an appointment online, the Fairmount Community Library is offering a free service. The library will provide one-on-one assistance either in person or over the phone on Mondays and Tuesdays during the month of March from 2:00 pm -5:00 pm, or by appointment. Advanced registration is required.
The public is asked to call 315 487-8933 or 315 382-8988 to reserve a spot. Masks and social distancing procedures will be required for each appointment.
“We are aware that some people are experiencing difficulties in making a vaccine appointment, especially those without computer access, internet access or a smartphone,” said library Director, Brenda Shea. “We want to offer help to the community by filling this gap in services. We are dedicated to help those in need register for the vaccine and to provide the necessary printed registration forms. We hope our community members will take advantage of this free resource.”
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
