Senior kosher lunches curbside pickup starts June 1
Although seniors still can’t come together for a delicious and nutritious kosher lunch at the Sam Pomeranz Jewish Community Center of Syracuse, the JCC is starting the next best thing: curbside pickup.
The JCC of Syracuse will begin curbside pickup of chef Donna Carullo’s senior kosher lunches on Monday, June 1. Lunch will be available for seniors age 60+ Monday-Friday with pickup from 12-12:30 p.m. in front of the JCC main entrance, 5655 Thompson Rd., DeWitt.
There is a $4.25 suggested contribution per meal. Cash only will be accepted. Family, friends and caregivers are welcome to pickup for others. Reservations are required by noon one business day before the meal date by calling 315-445-2360 and leaving a message.
The JCC’s senior lunch curbside pickup menu is available at the JCC website http://www.jccsyr.org/seniors-menu.html. JCC staff working the curbside pickup will be wearing masks and practicing preventive health/safety protocols.
