Are you curious about all the weeds in the Cazenovia Lake? Have questions about lakeside development? What are the plans for managing the lake? The answers to these and many other lake issues will be discussed at the 2017 Cazenovia Lake Summit.
The Lake Summit is an opportunity for the entire community to learn more the lake and to have a say in its future management. The summit is open to the public, and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Cazenovia village office.
The Cazenovia Lake Watershed Council and the Cazenovia Lake Association jointly worked to assemble the speakers and topics. This year’s guest speakers include Scott Kishbaugh from the NYS DEC, Bob Johnson from Racine-Johnson Aquatic Ecologists with the annual lake vegetation report, and the Foundation for Cazenovia Lake presenting the results of the Lake Economic Impact study.
At the end of the summit, there will be time for questions and answers.
