Mother’s Day brunch, bike ride and more at Amberations
Mark your calendars for Amberations Mother’s Day Brunch, Open House and Bike Ride on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Cyclists depart at 9 a.m. and food will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Enjoy a delicious feast that includes a variety of quiches, French toast, fruit, oatmeal, pastries, potatoes, meats, and beverages.
The 17-mile ride, sponsored by The Bikery of Baldwinsville, promises stunning views of Otisco Lake and the quiet country roads that surround it. Prizes will be awarded for fastest, most colorful, last place and youngest – just to name a few.
This annual community event will take place at the Otisco Lake Community Center, 2223 Amber Road in Marietta, adjacent to Amberations’ barn.
Brunch is complimentary for registered cyclists, $14 for non-cycling adults, $8 for children under age 12, and ages 5 and under are free.
To participate in the bike ride, the cost is $30 per person or $60 per family. Register in advance online or the day of the ride beginning at 8 a.m.
All proceeds support Amberations.
There is something for all ages and abilities to enjoy during the festivities!
Bring your family and friends for the ride or just come for brunch and then visit the animals, hike the trails and learn more about all that Amberations has to offer. There will be information available on the Summer Odyssey Camp that is an all-inclusive outdoor experience for children in fourth through seventh grades.
Amberations is a 501 (c-3) not-for-profit organization with a mission to support health by providing opportunities for people of all abilities to interact with the natural environment.
Over the years, visitors from group homes, senior centers, inner city youth, schools, families, and individuals have found that the animals and nature at Amberations help to restore balance and contribute to a positive sense of well-being.
Come for the day and you will surely want to return. Volunteers are the backbone of Amberations and always needed in various capacities.
