PEACE provides Easter hope in Baldwinsville

The Easter Bunny (PEACE Coordinator Alicia Manor) and helpers, Joseph Richmond, 10, and Jordan Unger, 3, are ready to hand out food donations to families for Easter weekend festivities. PEACE Inc., located in Nobles Plaza in Baldwinsville, held the Easter giveaway last Thursday. “A lot of people can’t afford food for Easter and this provides a nice dinner,” Manor said. Brown paper bags, decorated by Elden Elementary students in the fourth grade and kindergartners in Mrs. Froehlich’s class at the school, were given to clients full of items ranging from oatmeal, canned goods and paper products to turkeys, hams and Easter candy. Donations for the giveaway came from PEACE and the greater Baldwinsville community including hams from Word of Life Church.
