The American Cancer Society has a longstanding tradition of partnering with communities to address cancer-related issues, improve the quality of life for those facing the disease, and meaningfully engage communities to help fight cancer in every community. We do this through Relay For Life.
The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event with four million participants in 6,000 events worldwide. The Relay For Life event unites communities to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all by funding the Society’s groundbreaking cancer research, providing free services to cancer patients and their families, educating the community in cancer risk reduction and early detection, and assuring that quality cancer care is available to everyone who needs it.
