Road2RecoveryCNY and presenting sponsor Aspen Dental will be hosting a drive-in fundraiser at the State Fairgrounds on Saturday May 15^th, featuring the family-friendly favorite, “The Sandlot.” Gate 6 will open at 7:30 p.m., with the movie scheduled to begin at dusk.

A donation of $75.00 will admit one car. All proceeds will help Road2RecoveryCNY raise the $21,000.00 needed to save a life affected by opioid addiction in Central New York and provide long-term treatment.

“This fun drive-in event is our biggest fundraiser of the year so far,” explains Road2RecoveryCNY co-founder Darlene Endy. “This is great opportunity to enjoy a safe, family-friendly night out while helping to save a life from the trauma of addiction.”

In addition to the movie, attendees will hear brief remarks about how members of the local community are working on challenges affecting individuals who suffer from opioid addiction. Refreshments will be available for purchase, as well as the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle.
