JP Payton & Loveday Greene, front persons of the Ithaca-based Roots Rock/Americana/Alt Country band, Freight, make their Earlville Opera House debut August 31. Formed in 2020 by Payton and joined by Greene in 2022, Freights song centric sound has risen to musical acclaim in the Finger Lakes Region and beyond. Displaying a knack for writing strong melodic hooks with infectiously lilting harmonies, and supported by bluegrass based guitar chops that would make Norman Blake proud, Payton and Greene’s sound easily settles deep into the hearts core. Perfect for fans of Robert Plant & Allison Kraus, Bonnie & Delaney, Emmylou Harris & Mark Knoffler and other duo greats of the past, JP & Loveday present a dynamic and powerful performance sure to resonate in the soul of their audience long after the show has ended.

Earlville Opera House Arts Center is located at 18 East Main Street in the quaint Village of Earlville, NY. At EOH we believe accessibility and inclusion are critical to everything we do.
