The Cazenovia Girls Varsity Soccer Team last week did some preseason training with Meghan Kelly, of Cazenovia Community Fitness, who put the athletes through her Insanity/P90x class.
“I personally have taken Meghan’s Insanity/P90x class for over two years and know that her workouts are both fun and challenging,” said Kaleen Sessler, the girls varsity soccer coach. “After almost two weeks of preseason, we needed to switch up our fitness, but still workout at a high level, and that is what her workouts offer.”
This was the second year that Kelly did training with the soccer team. “We are lucky to be able to tap into our Cazenovia community to help us reach some of [our] goals,” Sessler said.
The team’s first game of the regular season will be against Altmar-Parish-Williamstown at noon on Friday, Sept. 2, at Cazenovia Stadium, Field no. 1 at the Googin sports fields.
