The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation is preparing for an array of fall events, including the third annual “Walk Among the Spirits” ghost tour to take place in Evergreen Cemetery. This year the walk will be held on October 22, 24 and 25, and will feature the spirits of eight former residents of Cazenovia, including: a congressman, a poetess, a hops farmer, and a Civil War soldier.
Last year’s event was attended by more than 300 people from all over Central New York. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund environmental and historic preservation efforts in Cazenovia.
CPF is currently seeking volunteer ghosts and tour leaders from the community. Anyone who would like to participate may email CPF Community Coordinator Kate O’Connor at cpfcommunitycoordinator@gmail.com.
