To the editor:
I am writing to endorse Kevin Rode for the position of Lysander town clerk to be voted on in the upcoming election on Nov. 8.
Kevin is a lifelong resident of our town, and I have known members of his family for many years. Though I have only recently had the pleasure of interacting with Kevin, I have witnessed his dedication to this community and his willingness to selflessly commit his time and energy to learn about and engage in the process of town government. He has approached the fulfillment of his desire to serve with integrity, and his ability to remain honestly above the political fray impresses me.
All of this speaks to a work ethic that is needed for the position of Lysander town clerk. Kevin’s attention to detail, his management and record-keeping experience, his ability to manage time efficiently, and his focus on service to all residents of Lysander makes him the best choice to run the office of the town clerk.
