To the editor:
The Democratic Party in the Town of Manlius ran a great race for various positions in this election. Almost 9,200 voters came to the polls to express their opinions. Contrary to what Ed Theobald stated in the Nov. 15 issue of the Eagle Bulletin, a win of approximately 300 votes for town supervisor does not describe a mandate for the Republican agenda. Half of the people of the town are looking for efficiency, diversity and transparency in government rather than the status quo. We will continue to work toward these goals.
