Family fun
Storytime with Miss Sarah takes place from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 8, 15 and 29, at the North Syracuse Branch (100 Trolley Barn Lane). Join Miss Sarah for a storytime filled with picture books and songs. Designed for young children and their caregivers. After 30 minutes of stories and songs there will be 30 minutes of playtime. Santa and Mrs. Claus Visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the Brewerton Branch (5440 Bennett St.). Enjoy holiday stories and songs with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Just in time for the holidays, stop by the library and make a gift to give to someone special! Gift Making for Kids takes place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the North Syracuse Branch. Teen time
Take paper into the third dimension for with Papercrafting for Teens, which takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the Brewerton Branch. Choosing from a variety of templates, teens will build 3D sculptures using just scissors, glue, and paper. The concept is simple to learn, but the results are awesome. The fun continues the next day with NOPL’s Teen Holiday Party, which takes place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the North Syracuse Branch. Mystery Classics Book Discussion takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Cicero Branch.
