Carta joins Tau Phi Zeta Honor Society at SUNY Canton
The Alpha Chapter of Tau Phi Zeta Honor Society at SUNY Canton welcomes Bridget Carta of Baldwinsville. Carta is a veterinary technology major who was inducted into the honor society Oct. 17, 2019, coinciding with National Veterinary Technician week.
Carta also was named to the president’s list at SUNY Canton for the fall 2019 semester.
Cyphert inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
Emma Cyphert of Baldwinsville, New York, was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Cyphert was initiated at State University of New York at Cortland.

McCard named to provost’s list at SUNY Oneonta
Marley McCard, of Baldwinsville, was among 240 SUNY Oneonta students who earned provost’s list honors for the fall 2019 semester. To qualify for the provost’s list, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.
Strohl graduates from Wilkes
Jessica Strohl, of Baldwinsville, received a master of business administration degree with a major in business administration at Wilkes University’s winter commencement ceremony on Jan. 19. The university awarded 302 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at the event which was held in the Arnaud C. Marts Center, 274 South Franklin St. in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
