The Liverpool Central School District Special Education Department will present “Transitioning from Preschool to School-Age Services,” a special education parent workshop, on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the district office board room at 195 Blackberry Road.
LCSD Committee on Preschool Special Education Chairperson Deanna Pappalardo, Director of Elementary Special Education Terry Bowers and Executive Director of Special Education Dr. Amy DiVita will provide information regarding the transition process from preschool to kindergarten special education services for families that have a preschooler eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2020. There will be a question and answer session with a panel of professionals including a special education teacher, general education teacher, speech therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist.
