OCM BOCES is currently seeking nominations for its Career and Technical Education (CTE) Alumni Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame honors OCM BOCES CTE program graduates who demonstrate leadership in their field.
Two individuals will be selected for recognition as 2017 Hall of Fame inductees: one graduate from the Irvin E. Henry Campus in Syracuse and one graduate from the Charles E. McEvoy Education Center in Cortland. The 2017 inductees selected from each campus will be honored at individual award ceremonies held at their respective campuses in June.
To be considered for the OCM BOCES Alumni Hall of Fame, individuals must be a graduate of an OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education program, must be currently engaged in a career related to their BOCES program of completion and must demonstrate leadership in their field and civic responsibility.
“We have so many former students out there who have achieved great success in their careers and we want to applaud them. We also want our current students to hear about these achievements so that they can see, with hard work and an OCM BOCES education, success is within their reach,” said OCM BOCES District Superintendent Jody Manning.
The deadline for submission of CTE Alumni Hall of Fame nominations is March 31, 2017. Forms are available online at ocmboces.org and in the reception areas of OCM BOCES buildings. To have a nomination form mailed, please contact the OCM BOCES CTE office at (315) 431-8407.
