The Fayetteville-Manlius School District has announced that a high school junior, Adam Frank, passed away at his home the morning of May 23, and the district will provide a crisis team and support staff to meet with students and faculty who knew Frank.
On May 23, the F-M School District sent a notice out to students and guardians that said, “The district’s school resource officer notified Superintendent Craig J. Tice that the Town of Manlius Police Department responded to a general ambulance call at the home of high school junior Adam Frank at about 6:30 a.m. May 23. Adam had passed away from unknown circumstances.”
“On behalf of the school district, I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to Adam’s family at this most difficult time,” Tice said.
According to his obituary, Frank, 16, was a member at Temple Concord, had worked at Wegmans and loved snowboarding, Batman Comics, DC Comics and Superhero movies and t.v. shows. His family includes his parents, Mark and Judy, and a sister Hannah.
“He will forever be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, his great heart and his terrific smile,” his obituary stated. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26 at Temple Concord, 910 Madison St., Syracuse with a burial to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
