Elizabeth (Elly) W. Lenoble of Montreal, Canada, passed away peacefully on Sept. 1, 2016. She was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1933, and spent her youth living in the Netherlands and Indonesia. She emigrated to the United States in 1959 with her first husband, Hendrik C. Rosenberger, and settled in Skaneateles. She later moved to Saranac Lake, N.Y., and then to Montreal, Canada. Elly will be remembered for her love of travel and her joy of singing.
Elly is survived by her husband, Jacob Lenoble, of Montreal, Canada, her daughter, WilhelmIna (Greg) Marsh, of South Carolina, two sons, Hendrik C. T. (Shelley) Rosenberger of Florida and Alan (Annette) Rosenberger of Connecticut, and three grandsons. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard C. Beck of Skaneateles. Mom will be greatly missed. A memorial service is planned for the summer of 2017. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
