LIVERPOOL — Voters in the Liverpool Central School District have approved the district’s proposed budget for the 2021-22 school year.
The budget passed with 903 yes votes and 231 no votes.
The appropriations for Liverpool’s 2021-22 budget total $168,363,709, which is an increase of 1.32% over the current year’s spending.
Voters also approved the bus and vehicle purchase proposition, which totals $1,245,293. The measure passed with 869 yes votes and 262 no votes.
Proposition 3, which would establish a capital reserve fund so the district can save money for future construction projects and major purchases, also passed with 895 yes votes and 233 no votes.
Three incumbents were re-elected to the Liverpool Board of Education. Katherine Roberts received 804 votes, Richard Pento received 713 votes and Joseph Morawski received 653 votes.
Challenger Hayley Downs received 641 votes.
