The Village and Town of Cazenovia invite the public to participate in the development of our Local Waterfront Redevelopment Plan (LWRP).
This plan is being prepared to identify issues and opportunities concerning our local waterfront areas and to identify potential projects and policies that will protect and enhance these locations. We have received a grant from NYS to develop this plan, with anticipation that this will lead to funding for future maintenance and improvement projects through the NYS LWRP program. We are inviting the public to provide input regarding issues and opportunities related to environmental concerns and economic development surrounding both Cazenovia Lake and Chittenango Stream waterfront areas.
Due to ongoing COVID 19 concerns, we will be having a “drop in” style meeting on Tuesday, July 28 in the Village Meeting Room at 90 Albany Street between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. These two sessions will be formatted to encourage one-on-one discussions with the committee. We will spread maps and visuals around the room to allow for social distancing and we ask that all participants wear masks. If anyone is interested in participating but is uncomfortable showing up at the public meeting, please email [email protected] to request an online discussion.
