70-year-old man arrested for soliciting child for sex
The Cicero Police Department has arrested a 70-year-old Brewerton man for attempting to pay a 12-year-old boy for sex.
Cicero PD investigated a report Oct. 1 of a male soliciting sex from a 12-year-old boy at the Bayshore North Apartments in Brewerton.
Officers were able to identify, locate and arrest the suspect, identified as 70-year-old Charles Clark of Brewerton.
Clark was charged with: patronizing a person for prostitution (first degree), which is a D Felony, and endangering the welfare of a child which is an A Misdemeanor. Clark was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center to await arraignment.

• Aug. 30: Jaclyn Laplante, 18, of Cicero, was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
• Sept. 3: Adam Latimer, 24, of Cicero, was charged with two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and harassment in the second degree.
• Sept. 9: Brooke Myers, 41, of Baldwinsville, was charged with petit larceny.
• Sept. 10: Nathaniel Vecchirelli, 18, was charged with reckless driving, passing a red light, failure to stop at a stop sign, no front plate, no inspection and registration not affixed. Sara Mauro, 34, of Clay, was charged with parking on highway, refusal to take breath test and DWI.
• Sept. 11: John Cullen, 52, of Clay, was charged with harassment in the second degree.
• Sept. 13: Kimberley Seeber, 47, of Syracuse, was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and petit larceny. Miranda Vogel, 34, of Volney, was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and petit larceny. Robert Perrin, 71, of Bridgeport, was charged with harassment in the second degree.
• Sept. 14: Robert Precourt, 31, of Syracuse, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
• Sept. 15: Eric Scoville, 30, of Oswego, was arrested on a warrant.
• Sept. 16: Niko Fiore, 31, of Baldwinsville, was arrested on a warrant. Fred Beach, 53, of Nedrow, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment in the second degree.
• Sept. 17: Amanda Grinnell, 41, of Fulton, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
• Sept. 18: Nicole Power, 28, of Syracuse, was charged with petit larceny.
• Sept. 19: Bernard McLaughlin, 76, of North Syracuse, was charged with speed in zone, suspended registration and no insurance. Casey Schonefelder, 33, of Syracuse, was charged with disorderly conduct. Jacob Wells, 36, of Cicero, was charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of motor vehicle in the third degree, failure to use designated lane, driving across hazard markings and refusal of breath test.
• Sept. 21: Jerry Ellis, 49, of Cicero, was charged with petit larceny.
• Sept. 22: Jason Ibrahim, 33, of North Syracuse, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of motor vehicle in the third degree and speed in zone.
