The DeWitt Police Department has announced the arrest of three individuals for their involvement in a shots fired incident near the area of 407 N. Midler Avenue in DeWitt.
Officers report the arrest of Joshua Simko, 20, of Mexico, NY, Keisha Stoutenger, 21, of Central Square, NY, and a 17-year-old female, of Foulton, NY.
Police say at about 2:50 a.m.on April 27, DeWitt officers heard what appeared to be a shotgun blast and observed a vehicle driving away from 407 N. Midler Ave. At about the same time, a victim contacted the Onondaga County 911 center and reported that her residence had just been shot at with what she believed to be a shotgun. DeWitt Police stopped the vehicle and further investigation led to the recovery of a shotgun in the vehicle as well as suspected narcotics.
All three subjects were arrested and arraigned on charges of reckless endangerment in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and conspiracy in the fifth degree.
Simko is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond. Stoutenger is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $2,500 cash/$2,500 bond and the 17-year-old was released on pre-trial release.
The victim did not sustain any injuries from the incident and police said no further information will be released at this time.
