Manlius — The Town of Manlius Police Department is investigating a report of a youth being approached by a suspicious vehicle the afternoon of Dec. 9 on Bentbrook Drive in Manlius.
Police said the incident was reported to have occurred at about 3 p.m. that day at the intersection of Drinkwater Lane at Bentbrook Drive. Officers said the suspicious vehicle was described as a white four-door SUV operated by a caucasian female.
It was reported that the SUV was traveling southbound on Bentbrook Drive when it stopped next to a juvenile male who was walking northbound on Bentbrook Drive. Police said the female told the youth to get into her car. The juvenile reportedly then ran immediately to his nearby residence and the vehicle left the area without further contact with the child.
Manlius Police are asking anyone with information regarding the vehicle and its occupant to contact the Town of Manlius Police Department at 682-2212.
