Empire Brewing Company will be giving away Wonka chocolate bars during Halloween weekend, in celebration of the life and career of Gene Wilder.
David Katleski, founder of Empire Brewing Company, has announced that Empire will be paying homage to the late Gene Wilder, by giving away Wonka chocolate candy bars bearing three golden tickets. Wilder is best known for his portrayal of Willy Wonka in the 1971 film “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” and is a favorite of Katleski’s and the Empire team.
Here’s how it works: find Willy Wonka during the scheduled times and say “snozzberries” to receive a free chocolate bar from Willy himself. Three lucky winners will find Empire’s Golden Ticket worth “a fabulous prize beyond your wildest imagination” — a 12 pack of fun. The prize is a private tour with Katleski at either of Empire’s beer factories, coupled with an exclusive dinner party for 12 people.
The scheduled times and locations for the Wonka Bar Giveaway are:
- Saturday, Oct. 29: 1 to 4 p.m.at Empire Brewing Company, 33 Rippleton Road, Cazenovia.
- Sunday, Oct. 30: 1 to 4 p.m.at Empire Brewing Company, 120 Walton St., Syracuse.
- Monday, Oct. 31: during Trick or Treating on Lincklean St., Cazenovia.
Prizes are available to children of all ages. No purchase necessary. Employees and employee family members of Empire Brewing Company are excluded. Wonka Bars subject to availability.
