This year marks the 35th anniversary of Marquardt manufacturing in the U.S. To celebrate its milestone, Marquardt hosted a Tech Show on Tuesday, April 5, at its North American headquarters in Cazenovia. The show featured advanced solutions and cutting-edge developments for switches, sensors and controls for various applications, as well as guided facility tours showcasing Marquardt’s manufacturing capabilities.
The 35th anniversary celebration was well-attended by over 150 customers, suppliers and local community members, such as Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner and representatives from Fiat Chrysler Automotive, General Motors, Caterpillar, John Deere, Milwaukee Electric Tool, Freightliner, Arrow Electronics, Future Electronics, CenterState CEO, MACNY, Empire State Development, Madison County, Onondaga County, several local colleges and other valued companies.
Marquardt introduced hundreds of products at its tech show, including standard switches, sensors and control systems for automobiles, construction and agricultural machineries, tractor trailers, buses, power tools, medical and laboratory supplies, cleaning and household appliances, and other applications across various markets.
In addition to products already on the market, Marquardt demonstrated new innovations and next-generation developments, including eye tracking sensors, Bluetooth equipment, LED lighting systems and other high-tech samples.
Marquardt Cazenovia employs over 500 people and features a 115,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. This location is responsible for product design and assembly and houses all North American business operations.
