Cazenovia — Oneida Savings Bank representatives, from left, Robin Gallup and Barb Houghton present a check for $2,000 to Project CAFÉ student leaders Alli Karmis, Mimi Gabor, Olivia McEntee, Megan Henderson and Kevin Frega to help support the community’s “RecDesk” initiative. RecDesk is an online system that will function as a “virtual community center” by coordinating a wide range of activities, programs and facilities within the community. Project CAFÉ has joined CACDA along with the village and town of Cazenovia to help initiate the program, which will assist dozens of local groups in their efforts to serve the community. Oneida Savings Bank will soon become Community Bank but its non-profit foundation will remain distinct to help continue its legacy of outstanding support to the local area.
