This year, the Cazenovia Area Community Development Association (CACDA) annual fundraiser will celebrate the third year of the Cazenovia Art Trail. The Art Trail opens Saturday, Oct. 4, and on Friday evening, Oct. 3, CACDA will present a gala opening reception for the Art Trail: “Eat. Drink. Art.”
This event will be hosted at the Cazenovia College Art Gallery at Reisman Hall on Sullivan Street. Selected works from participating artists will be on display and guests will have the opportunity to preview the Art Trail experience, while enjoying artfully prepared food and local beverages.
“It will be wonderful to have selections from all of our artists on display in one location for this special evening,” said Art Trail Chair Cathy Savage. “Guests will be able to get a sneak peak at what is in store along the trail.”
Advanced tickets are available for $45 at cacda.net or by mailing a check to CACDA at 95 Albany St., Cazenovia. Tickets must be purchased by Sept. 22. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Cazenovia Art Trail.
Sponsors of “Eat. Drink. Art.” include Oneida Savings Bank, Pro-Tel and Pelco Component Technologies.
In addition, the CACDA Bike Rack Design Competition finalists will be unveiled at this event. Guests will have the first opportunity to view the top designs and will also be the first to participate in the community vote for the winning design. More information on the design competition is available at bikecaz.com.
