A public hearing regarding a five-year contract with Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Company to provide fire protection services to the Smokey Hollow Fire Protection District at a cost of $315,360.96 will be held at 7:01 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the Lysander Town Hall.
A public hearing to hear comments regarding a law, which would allow the town board to override the tax levy limit by the adoption of a resolution approved by 60 percent of the board, will be held at 7:02 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the Lysander Town Hall.
A public hearing regarding the tentative town budget will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Lysander Town Hall. Officials are currently reviewing proposed budget presentations from each of the town’s department heads during budget work sessions. The proposed budget is available for the public to review in the town clerk’s office. Officials anticipate approving the budget either at the Nov. 8 or Nov. 19 town board meetings.
