The Town of Elbridge has been recognized for its efforts to provide property owners with fair and equitable assessments in 2012.
The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services recognized the town with a certificate dated Aug. 22.
“The town board’s goal is to have fair and equal assessments and a 100 percent equalization rate,” said Town Supervisor Ken Bush. “It is appreciated that the state has recognized our efforts.”
