A Jamesville man accused of destroying swan eggs in the village of Manlius has been charged with speeding after police say he was driving 109 miles per hour in Lafayette.
Ross Leone, 23, of Ransom Road, was stopped Monday night on State Route 91 after police say he was driving 109 miles per hour in a 55 zone. He was charged with reckless driving, speeding and operation of a motor vehicle in violation of a conditional license. Leone’s driver’s license was a conditional license due to a pending DWI charge.
He was arraigned in Lafayette court and held on $2,500 bail. He’s due back in court at 6 p.m. June 7, the same day he is due in Manlius court.
