Baldwinsville’s bowling teams continued an impressive run through January when they defeated Liverpool on both the girls and boys sides Wednesday at Thunderbird Lanes.
The girls Bees swept the Warriors 3-0, with consistency at the top as its record improved to 7-1. Britni Flask shot a 602 series with a high game of 212, while Cassie Blanchard managed a 572 set (207 high game) and Annie Peterson backed them up with a three-game total of 557.
Meanwhile, the B’ville boys edged Liverpool 2-1, overcoming a 699 series from the Warriors’ Alex DiGenero. Tyler Watchus, with a 632 set (235 high game), led the Bees, with Ryan Zbikowski adding a 222 game in his 593 series and Matt Allen getting a 583 total.
Maintaining this momentum, B’ville beat West Genesee 3-0 on both sides of the ledger Thursday afternoon, also at Thunderbirds.
Frank Mento’s 673 series helped the boys Bees as Sam Sojdak (637 series) and Zbikowski (624 series) added further depth. Peterson improved to a 563 series (207 high game) on the girls side, while Taeler Kuss added a 540 series and 212 high game.
B’ville’s only match next week is Thursday, against Central Square, who had boys bowler Steve Revette pull off a 300 game in its last match, a 2-1 win over Cicero-North Syracuse.
