The annual celebration of winter in the village of Camillus has been canceled.
Feb Fest will not have sufficient time to be planned, mayor-elect Patricia Butler said.
“This was not a project that was originally initiated and run by the village,” she said. “My goal moving forward for February 2013 is to work in coordination with other contact in the town and the village and kick off a new and exciting Feb Fest activity for the winter months.”
She expects a new town-wide celebration of winter to re-appear in 2013.
Last year’s event featured snow sculptures, presentations by the fire department and activities at the Senior Center and library.
