Char Hart, second from left, was the winner in the Baldwinsville Public Library’s drawing for a Nook. A regular visitor to the library, Hart was thrilled to have won the raffle, arriving within the hour after being notified she was the winner. With her are BPL Director Marilyn Laubacher, left, and library trustees Bob Manning and Susan Downey, right. The drawing was part of a fundraiser the library recently held at Barnes and Noble in Clay, in which Baldwinsville students gave musical performances and patrons purchased many books off the BPL’s wish list. Trustees Manning and Downey both said the turnout was fantastic and they were very grateful to all who participated.
