The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) invites high school students to attend a workshop to brainstorm ideas for a competition that aims to generate business ideas.
ESF’s Sustainability & Green Entrepreneurship (SAGE) program has partnered with the Metropolitan Development Association of Central New York (MDA) to provide instruction and encouragement to high school students interested in the MDA’s Business Idea Competition.
The workshop will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and led by Marcie Sonneborn from CNY Technology Development. Sonneborn will facilitate activities to help expand and develop students’ business ideas for submission to the competition.
The Business Idea Competition seeks innovative ideas that hold real promise to be successful in the market. There is a $5,000 prize for the winning entry.
