The Onondaga County Courthouse closed Monday morning due to an electrical problem.
Workers in the courthouse were sent home around 10 a.m. after an apparent electrical short. County workers were told electricians would be called in to reset the system, a process expected to take five to six hours.
County Executive Joanie Mahoney is expected to issue a statement some time Monday.
