The village of North Syracuse issued a resolution at their Thursday board of trustees meeting regarding the case of Philip Drury, codes officer for the village.
Drury was suspended from his position for 30 days in late 2008 after being accused of sexual harassment by a village resident. He is now on limited duties with the village.
The board voted unanimously last night to send Drury’s case to a hearing officer. Village attorney Heather Cole said she did not know when the hearing would take place.
If the hearing officer finds that the charges are true, Drury will be terminated from his position.
Drury was in attendance when the resolution was read. He declined to comment, other than to say the charges were false.
