Starting Feb. 1, Cicero Youth Bureau, Parks and Recreation has Valentine’s Day Craft Kits To-Go available for pickup at William Park, 7033 Lakeshore Road, Cicero. Craft Kits for ages 3-10 includes animal magnets, wind-up dinosaurs, string art, and an owl gift bag for storing Valentine’s Day cards. The cost is $10 for Cicero residents and $12 for non-residents. Craft Kits for ages 8-16 includes a DIY heart-shaped string art, DIY heart-shaped pillow, and DIY greeting card. The cost is $20 for Cicero residents and $25 for non-residents.
Looking for an outdoor activity for the February break? A limited number of discounted snow tubing passes are available for purchase. The cost is $20 per person. Snow tubing is located at Four Seasons Golf and Ski Center in Fayetteville.
Is karate right for your child? Find out with this low-commitment, low-cost, introductory package of two consecutive weeks of karate classes, an official KJ T-shirt and one private lesson for just $25.
Adults looking to try out kickboxing can sign up for an intro package including two consecutive weeks of Karate John’s Kickboxing and Kick-n-Tone classes with convenient morning and evening classes. This low-commitment, low-cost package is $25.
Project: GREEN registration begins in Clay
Winter is the perfect time to start planning your garden. The town of Clay is now accepting applications for garden plots and greenhouse use at its Project: GREEN site, located at Black Creek Park, 9604 Black Creek Road, Brewerton, adjacent to Lock 23. Greenhouse orientation is Thursday, April 1, and garden plots will be designated Wednesday, May 19. Dates are subject to change. Stay tuned for details about the community beekeeping program.

Looking for something to do over winter break? Head out to Four Seasons Golf and Ski Center in Fayetteville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, and enjoy some snow tubing fun. Town of Clay residents will receive a discount on tube passes at a rate of $17. Call the Clay Recreation office at 315-652-3800 ext. 139 to sign up. Payment is due at Four Seasons on Feb. 17.
