The Onondaga County Board of Elections reminds voters that early voting for the 2020 general election takes place Saturday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 1. All registered voters in Onondaga County are able to vote at any of the locations and times listed below.
Please note: If you cast a ballot during the early voting period, you will not be allowed to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Early voting locations in Onondaga County are:
- Armond Magnarelli Community Center at McChesney Park: 2300 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, NY 13208
- Syracuse Community Connection: 401-425 South Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204
- Camillus Fire Station (rear entrance): 5801 Newport Road, Camillus, NY 13031
- Clay Town Hall Courtroom (rear entrance): 4401 Route 31, Clay, NY 13041
- DeWitt Town Hall Courtroom: 5400 Butternut Drive, East Syracuse, NY 13057
- LaFayette Fire Station #1 (rear entrance): 2444 Route 11 South, LaFayette, NY 13084
All voting locations are accessible to voters with physical disabilities.
Early voting polling hours are as follows:
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26
- Noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27
- Noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1

Absentee ballot applications must be postmarked by Oct. 27
Absentee ballots are available to any voters who will not be in Onondaga County to vote at their polling place or are unable to get to their polling place due to a temporary or permanent illness or disability, and COVID-19 concerns. Election Day is Nov. 3, 2020, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
An application for an absentee ballot by mail must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020. For absentee applications by email, fax, telephone and the online portal, the deadline is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020.
You may apply for an absentee ballot in person at the Board of Elections until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2020. Absentee applications can be downloaded from onvote.net.
Should a voter take ill after Oct. 27, they may send their completed application with a representative for themselves to the Board of Elections to obtain an absentee ballot.
The Board of Elections will have extended office hours for absentee application requests on the following dates/times:

- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25
- 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26

- 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28
- 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29
- 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1
