The Baldwinsville boys swim team improved to 2-1 on the season Wednesday night when it beat the combined Syracuse city team by a score of 101-78 at the Nottingham High School pool.
Dan Burke, Eric Johnson and Zach Akers both had two individual titles. Burke swam the 200 individual medley in 2:06.30, and went on to win the 100 backstroke in 1:03.33.
As for Akers, he got to first place in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:01.29, and went on to claim first place in the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.20. Johnson had a victory in the 200 freestyle (2:07.03) and beat the field in the 500 freestyle in 6:05.39.
In the opening 200 medley relay, Akers helped Burke, Kyle Atkinson and John Guardino earned a victory in 1:52.52, this before Atkinson won the 100 freestyle in 56.73 seconds. B’ville takes on Auburn next Tuesday night.
