As of Monday afternoon, the college announced it has moved all classes to remote delivery with an earliest possible return date of students of April 13.
The college has also cancelled all large gatherings (50 or more) until April 30; this includes athletic contests and events at the theater.
The college had previously reported that as result of the coronavirus pandemic, Cazenovia College will commence with remote instruction starting Monday, March 23.
The college also previously announced the extension of spring break until March 22. During the extended spring break week, College faculty and staff are preparing for remote delivery for both undergraduate and graduate instruction.

Cazenovia College is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and out of an abundance of caution, the College is extending Spring Break until March 22.
During this added week off, the College will prepare for the possibility of transitioning to remote delivery for both undergraduate and graduate instruction, should it become necessary.
Cazenovia College students will not be allowed to return to campus on Sunday, March 15. Instead, they are being asked to remain home. There will be no classes the week of March 16 through March 20. Course instruction will resume on March 23 either in person or via an online platform depending on how the coronavirus situation progresses.
