The Northern Onondaga Public Libraries are proud to partner with the CNY SPCA to collect donations that will support the animal shelter in caring for the needs of pets waiting for adoption. Donation bins will be available inside our North Syracuse, Cicero and Brewerton branches throughout the month of February.
Some of the services the CNY SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) provides for animals in the region include adoption, spay and neuter programs, education, and investigation into animal cruelty.
Items on the shelter’s “wish list” for donation include: cat litter; puppy pads; dog and cat beds; canned or dry cat and dog food; Nylabones; antlers, pig ears and bones; towels; Kongs; small litter pans; and Martingale collars.
Visit any of our locations and use our specially marked bins to donate any of these items to help furry friends waiting for their forever home.
