Martisco Lions celebrate the season
On Saturday, Dec. 7, the Martisco Lions Club held its annual Christmas for Seniors event. Members of the Lions Club accompanied Santa Claus as he visited the Nine Mile Landing and Upper Crown Landing Apartments. The residents received goody bags packed with treats and household items. Santa led the group in the singing of Christmas carols. A hotly contested trivia contest was also held. The residents enjoyed a holiday spread of Christmas cookies and punch. Each year, the Lions look forward to kicking off the holiday season with this fun event.
